The oyster knife came about from the dilemma my chef friends Jack and Josh were having. Their knife blades were literally breaking, which is not conducive to preparing oysters! Therefore, we devised a knife with a uniquely shaped blade that is not only effective for shucking the oyster, but for loosening it from the shell as well.
